Meredith Hogarty graduated with a clinical Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2007 from Boston College. Following several years in the field, working with children and families, Meredith decided to continue her education in the nursing field at the MGH Institute of Health Professions where she earned a Masters of Science in Nursing degree in mental health in 2014. Meredith has been in private practice since 2017 and in 2023, she completed a fellowship to become a certified integrative psychiatric provider at the Integrative Psychiatry Institute. With Meredith’s unique professional background as a social worker and nurse practitioner, she approaches each patient interaction with warmth, kindness, understanding, patience, and compassion. At times, Meredith has also been known to incorporate her good sense of humor and wit as appropriate.

Meredith has always held a passion for helping others which has grown as she has continued her education in the field of mental health and has specialized in providing medication management with an integrative approach. Meredith’s approach to treating mental health focuses on the root cause of your symptoms by ordering and interpreting lab work, considering your medical history and nutritional status. While Meredith prescribes traditional psychotropic medication, she also incorporates psychotherapy and lifestyle modifications like diet, exercise, stress-reduction, self-care and connection.

Meredith is a mother and wife who also manages chronic health issues of her own. She understands the challenges of being a working mother today while also navigating healthcare and advocating for the best personal health outcomes. Meredith believes we can all experience improved mental health outcomes with a supportive and caring provider on your side while combining an integrative approach with traditional psychiatric practices.
